In collaboration with our client and Lawrence Gust – a certified Building Biology Consultant and certified Electromagnetic Radiation Specialist – an extraordinary Airstream Travel Trailer renovation unfolded, catering specifically to the unique needs of a young woman with chemical and electrical sensitivities.

From its iconic exterior to its carefully crafted interior, this Airstream is a haven, expertly designed to minimize the impact of chemicals and electrical disturbances on our customer’s well-being.

With an understanding of our customer’s sensitivities, this project incorporated a meticulous selection of all-natural materials, hypoallergenic and organic elements, VCO-free materials, EMF shielding, water filtration, and a range of thoughtfully chosen features to create a sanctuary of unparalleled comfort.

Every element of the Airstream’s interior has been carefully considered to ensure a toxin-free environment.

Marmoleum flooring, known for its natural and sustainable properties, graces the space, providing a durable, hypoallergenic surface. Neolith stone countertops, renowned for their beauty and resistance to chemicals, are the centerpiece of the kitchen, promoting cleanliness and purity. Ash cabinetry, finished with Aqua Resin Stain, showcases its natural beauty while being free from harsh chemicals.

Stainless steel fixtures adorn the kitchen and bathroom, combining functionality with hygienic properties. A Teak Duckboard enhances the organic and spa-like atmosphere in the shower, providing a luxurious and comfortable experience. 

Organic foam and upholstery envelop the furnishings throughout the living space, ensuring a non-toxic and allergen-free seating area. Organic cotton bedding and curtains create a cocoon of comfort free from synthetic materials.

 AFM Safe Coat Paint, known for its low VOC (volatile organic compounds) content, adorns the walls, ensuring minimal off-gassing and maintaining healthy indoor air quality.

Comprehensive EMF shielding is implemented throughout the Airstream to safeguard against electrical disturbances. This shielding effectively minimizes electromagnetic fields, creating a tranquil haven shielded from external disruptions.

A dedicated water filtration system provides peace of mind and ensures that every drop is purified, offering our clients access to clean and refreshing water throughout the space.

This remarkable Airstream transformation is a testament to our commitment to creating spaces that cater to individual needs.
